A finalist in the 2018 BBC Young Jazz Musician competition, James Owston has since become a sought-after performer on the UK jazz scene, collaborating with artists like Clark Tracey, Xhosa Cole, and Paul Dunmall. Whether leading his own ensembles or contributing as a sideman, Owston brings a compelling mix of creativity, groove, and storytelling to every performance. James will be joined this month's houseband, Eddie Gripper on Piano and Patrick Barrett Donlon on Drums.
